This app is great for news, like the layout and news/information it provides, so why one star? Simple, the notifications!! So annoying, doesn't matter what setting I have the notifications set to, I get bombarded with news notifications. Just way too many. I've set it to standard, to low and I've even turn off notifications in the app and still get them!! Please sort it

the ability to access multiple news outlets is excellent, but the app is let down by the number and type of adverts, which, based on my experience, are hard to get rid of and hang around. Their advertising policy, which shares your data with 144 vendors, means you can expect plenty of annoying and intrusive ads but with no option to switch to a premium plan to remove them.

When we are replying to comments and tap the screen, probably to correct an error in the replies we are typing, the entire reply we are typing will vanish. It doesn't happen when we are commenting directly on a post. This has lingered so long for Opera News not to notice it. I have written many feedbacks to that effect with no improvement. One star review may be the better option.
