The app has some gaps where they don't properly show special fees and critical information that can have your booking refused or incur hidden fees. I've walked into hotels with unusual deposits that aren't shown on the app. I lost almost 200 hundred on a car reservation because of hidden information about not allowing debit cards to be used from a car reservation company. If I'd booked directly to the car company I'd have a refund but through the app you're out of luck.

I used to love this app but now the experience has been quite buggy for me. I just can't see the messages from the properties I booked at. They send messages but when I go to the message in the app there's nothing, just the guy saying "no new messages, you can send messages when you have a booking". The help center is useless too, I need help with the app not working, not with any of the existing categories, when I go to "help with something else" I get circled back to the initial screen.

EDIT: A few weeks later and my messages still are not working! Contacting a living person working for Booking for help is either not possible, or obscured by layers and layers of automatic answers which I really have no time to go through. For a long long time I am unable to view messages. Even on the other phone, it is impossible. I get email notifications, i see 5 new messages in the app, but no chats are showing.
