I've had Gosund products for several years now & have decided, once these expensive things wear out, I'm just going back to regular ones. The hassle isn't worth it, even for someone with my health problems. If the app isn't randomly kicking my devices off the network, failing to connect to my WiFi when everything else is fine, or forgetting to run an automatic scene, it's asking me to confirm actions I've programmed it to do. "TAP to run" means just that, not tap 2x. Customer service is a bot🙄

The app functions for it's core purpose but it is a QuickTime event every time I open the app because I chose to turn off access on the app after setting up the wall plugs this app controls. Open the app. Go to tap power on for the switch. "Hey, enable BT and stuff!" Oh no, did you tap something you didn't want to because of a popup? Hit back. Hit back again to close BT enable. Now there is an Ad for some other product this app can control. Press X. Where am I now? Back. Finally I can turn it on

Hello, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused by these ads. The ads can be disabled. In the app click Me- Select Privacy Settings and disable "Personalized Recommendations". Thank you!

Developer responded to my initial review complaining about ads. The response is a blatant lie. Anytime I open the app, instead of being able to use my devices I'm greeted with an ad to buy more of their sub par products. If a company has ads that interfere with my user experience I refuse to buy anything else they offer, as well as let others know. Over time these devices have became super unreliable. I have 8 of their lights around my house. They always disconnect randomly.

Hello, our latest app version can now disable pop-up ads. Android version：v5.1.24 : https://smartapp.tuya.com/gosundsmart. Please open the app, click Me> go to Settings> App Notification >Advertising Push (under Display Home Banner). You can disable it anytime after 1 week.
