The initial training and the relaxed nature of the videos is great. However the listening feature is poor, often it won't hear the notes at all or will take a generic noise as the requested chord which can affect your learning and is very frustrating. The tuning function is inconsistent and will often say a string is out of tune when it definitely isn't. In hindsight I wish I hadn't paid the subscription.

Missing some features that I now consider pretty much essential for learning to play properly, the biggest one is to be able to slow the song down. Because this is not possible you're forced to learn in a rushed and Imperfect way, possibly leading to incorrect technique which then becomes muscle memory. Another feature that would be very useful is to be able to scroll to part of a song to try only that section, or when you make a mistake to scroll back and retry it (slower at first).

The lesson quality is mediocre, and because the entire app relies on the microphone, it can be absolutely infuriating to work with if the phone you use is a bit sub-par. I can't recommend it because of that. There's online tools you can go for, or even physical exercise books you can follow.
